Wow, this past week has been the worst so I’ve officially failed my main New Years Resolution, but i’m not giving up completely. I’ll make up for it. Thank goodness I have tomorrow completely off. As for my review on Superbad….. there were so many moments where I put my hand over my mouth in disbelief at some of the things these people said. Superbad is a sexually crude, yet incredibly funny film.
This shit is Bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S!
So we’ve all been there. We’ve all had some idiotic, shitty-ass boss that we’ve had to deal with and we’ve all thought about how it would be soo nice if they were ran over by a truck. This movie takes that thought and makes it one hilarious story. Charlie day is just as much a wildcard in this film as he is in It’s Always Sunny. I’ll never be able to listen to That’s Not My Name by the Ting Tings without laughing at this scene now. Soo funny, soo good, definitely a must watch comedy.
Yo La Tengo is the epitome of Indie Rock. They’ve been around for nearly thirty years now and are one of the few bands that just get better as time goes on (think opposite of GreenDay). This album is evidence of that. What an amazing album. Most albums are easy to compare and contrast to other bands because they’re sounds are similar, but not This album and most certainly not this band. Yo la Tengo is something on their own. Mixing mystic like new age sounds with a bit of lo-fi this is one stellar indie album.
Well you better
I’ll be around
